The House Code

The quiet rules that protect the quality of the room.

Introduction Maison Privé is a private house experience. The atmosphere depends entirely on the people present. These guidelines exist to preserve elegance, safety, and mutual respect for every guest.

We ask that you read them carefully before applying.

The Code

Consent is continuous Enthusiastic, ongoing consent is required at every moment. A “yes” can become a “no” at any time. Check in. Listen. Respect the answer immediately and without question.

Discretion is absolute What happens within the Maison stays within the Maison. Do not discuss other guests, venues, or experiences outside the community. Photographs and recordings of any kind are strictly forbidden unless explicit permission is given by every person involved and by the hosts.

Respect the space and the people in it Treat the private residence and every guest with care. Arrive clean, well-presented, and ready to contribute to an elegant atmosphere. Aggressive, entitled, or predatory behaviour will result in immediate removal and permanent exclusion.

Personal presentation Dress to the theme of the evening and to the standard of a private members’ gathering. Think refined rather than overt. Confidence and self-respect are more important than any particular garment.

Communication Be clear, kind, and direct. Assumptions create discomfort. Courtesy creates safety.

Alcohol & substances Moderate alcohol is welcome. Intoxication that impairs judgement or consent is not. Illegal substances are never permitted.

Boundaries are sacred If someone declines an invitation — verbal or non-verbal — the matter is closed. There is no negotiation, persuasion, or lingering.

Hosts’ authority The hosts’ decisions regarding entry, behaviour, and removal are final. We reserve the right to refuse or revoke membership at any time to protect the integrity of the gatherings.
